Concept of the EVA project

The overall objective of the EVA project is to create and mobilise a European network of high calibre centres withthe appropriate expertise, to collect, amplify, characterise, standardise, authenticate, distribute and track, mammalian and other exotic viruses. The purchase price for each virus is dependent on the specific BSL category to which the virus has been assigned in Europe.
Prices, as of February 2010, are indicated below ( VAT and shipment costs not included ): —
