The objective of this 3-week course is to learn bioinformatics techniques for the analysis of next-generation HIV sequencing results. This covers both HIV-1 and HIV-2. Teaching objectives include data curation, alignment, phylogenetics for typing, identification of drug resistance mutations, production of a resistance score, and interpretation.
