Phocine distemper virus
The wild-type phocine distemper virus was isolated in 1988 in Vero-dogSLAM cells. This stock was also produced and titrated in Vero-dogSLAM cells. Note: this wild-type PDV strain has not been adapted to growth in regular Vero cells. This virus is not suitable as control in molecular assays, but is intended for use in pathogenesis studies.
