The generation of an antigen-specific murine monoclonal hybridoma cell line against a specific antigen provided by the end-user (purified Protein or inactivated purified virus) included: 1. the immunization of 2 BALB/c mice, 2. the fusion of the spleen cells with SP2/0 cells, 3. Screening and selection of suitable clones (~ 10 to 15) by using a suitable screening method depending of the planned later usage, 4. Two subcloning steps to obtain single clones (the End-User has to provide suitable amount of the protein of interest for the immunizations as well as all relevant screenings steps ~ 0.5 mg).
